Rita Hayworth impersonator

THE HEAT IS ON!, an explosive one-woman theatre piece based on the life of Rita Hayworth, examines the life, loves and career of one of Hollywood's most electrifying screen sirens. Starring our very own Quinn, who bears more than a passing resemblance to the Love Goddess. THE HEAT IS ON! chronicles Miss Hayworth's infamous marriages to Orson Welles and Prince Ali Khan, her turbulent relationship with movie mogul Harry Cohn, and her final struggle with Alzheimer's through Miss Hayworth's intoxicating movie music, dance and storytelling. Quinn brings Rita's glamour, wit and vunerability while backed by a red-hot quartet (piano, bass, drums and trumpet.)

Quinn received a Manhattan Association of Cabaret (MAC) nomination for her poignant portrayal of America's favorite redhead. Two Broadway-bound workshops ensued at the John Houseman Theatre in New York: RITA and HOLLYWOOD GODDESS. She has portrayed Miss Hayworth on national television on Geraldo, Good Morning America, Oprah and New Jersey's Talking. Special performances include The Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention at Town Hall in NYC, The Player's Club, The Friar's Club, NY Foundation for the Arts, The Intrepid, The WomanKind Festival at One Dream Theatre in Manhattan and for the Alzheimer's Foundation in Columbus, Indiana raising over $25,000. She also excerpts from THE HEAT IS ON! for the Sundance Film Festival film, PICASSO WOULD HAVE MADE A GLORIOUS WAITER.
